Vaporesso GTX GO 40 Review
The Vaporesso GTX GO 40 is a refreshingly simple device, designed to be as user friendly as possible. Whether you’re starting out on your switch journey or looking for a pocket-friendly second device, this might just be for you. Let’s take a closer look!

Pros
Really easy-to- use
Wide range of coils
Great flavour
Good battery life
Tinted pod: easy to see liquid level
Cons
Only 1 coil included
Mouthpiece quite wide
Tricky to open top-fill first few times
Build
Vaporesso’s focus on simplicity translates into a solid little device. The pod snaps magnetically onto the battery with a satisfying clunk. An infinity airflow, achieved by simply rotating the entire pod gives the user a nice level of customisability. The fire button is just the right size as well as textured, making it super easy to locate by touch alone. An LED light around the button to show various functions & battery level adds another touch of class.

Pod
The pod is slightly tinted which is a fantastic idea, allowing the user to see the liquid level much more easily. The included Vaporesso GTX GO 22 Pod holds 2ml of your favourite liquid. The top fill method is generally a good system as you don’t have to remove the pod to top up your liquid. You simply twist the top of the pod a quarter turn to reveal the fill port, but I found this a little tricky to open for the first few attempts. Another thing to note is the mouthpiece is quite wide. Normally devices of this size are MTL (mouth to lung), tending to offer quite a tight draw with a strong throat hit but given the diameter of the mouthpiece, the vaping experience on the Vaporesso GTX GO 40 kit is what I would describe as a loose MTL experience.

User Experience
Vaporesso does a good job of subtly styling the Vaporesso GTX GO 40 kit with a nice choice of colours and the addition of their logo. One of the biggest upsides of this device is the range of compatible GTX coils ). In the box is the 0.6Ω mesh coil which offers great flavour and a big cloud especially for a small device. One downside of this kit is that it only includes one coil, unlike most devices on the market. To be fair to Vaporesso, the price point indicates to me that they’re trying to pass on the saving from the single coil to the consumer. Battery charges in just under 1 hour 30 mins and lasted me the whole day. Power is variable by pressing the fire button 3 times in quick succession. The LED light around the button will cycle through red, blue and green, indicating low, medium and high-power settings. Oddly, this is not included on the instructions…but now you know!

Verdict
Overall, the Vaporesso GTX GO 40 is a great little device. Small, good battery life, great flavour and simple operation. Really simple. This is the GO 40’s party piece. From coil installation, to filling, to firing, everything is very simple to do, and I think that’s a great thing; life is complicated enough! At this price, the GO 40 is a great deal whether it’s your first device or a trusty backup to your other kits.
