Ziggi's Tour De France
With the official Tour De France finished for this year; Ziggi’s Tour De France is just beginning with the goal of raising money for The Welcome Organisation. (Did you know: the 2021 Tour De France was won by Slovenia’s Tadej Pogačar of the UAE Team Emirates.)
How will Ziggi’s Tour De France work?
We will initially have two stationary bikes, one based in the Ziggicig Support Hub and the other will be transported around our stores. Keep an eye on our social media to see where the bike will be transported next. Call in and give us a cheer. Any donation will be greatly appreciated to raise money for The Welcome Organisation.
At Ziggicig, we will be cycling 2,200miles on our stationary bikes over the next month to aid in combating homelessness in Belfast. Our target is to raise £2,200, but we are optimistic that we will smash this target.

What Is The Welcome Organisation?
The Welcome Organisation is a Belfast-based charity who provide a range of potentially life-saving services to around 1,400 people affected by homelessness across greater Belfast every year. Their services include:

Their Crisis Accommodation for Women provides shelter for some of the most vulnerable women in Belfast. The five-bed crisis facility based at Annsgate is used by women with multiple and complex problems such as homelessness, ill mental health and substance misuse.
Street Outreach
Their Street Outreach team is on the streets of greater Belfast 365 days per year from 7am until 2am. Their Outreach staff and volunteers are trained to provide potentially life-saving care and support for those on the street.
Floating Support
Their Floating Support service is for those who have been homeless but who now have access to accommodation. The Floating Support Staff will make regular visits to those who use the service to ensure they have everything they need in place to retain their tenancies and to turn a house into a home.
