Ideal for single 26650 100w mods as it has the continuous pulse rate to run them. Although a reasonable working range is roughly up to 70 watts for a single cell mod. At that kid of setting these will last the whole day. That is based on running the average single  0.3 ohm coil.

Where are the limits in performance ?

Dual 26650 mods can run at higher wattage for longer. Its possible to run a dual 26650 mod up to 200 watts but only for a short time. However 120 watts could be run for most of the day before experiencing output drop. Very few dual 26650 mods were ever produced due to their bulky size.
